USER ACTIVATION IN THE PRODUCT —
cartoon illustrations for educational articles
My TASK was to create visual storytelling that makes the client's content stand out on social networks. The aim of the graphics is to help readers of the client's blog better recall and comprehend complex materials.
I created metaphorical adventures of diverse characters to make the experience of readers more dynamic.
Instead of sticking with the same characters, I went for a recurring metaphor: the heart as a symbol of the Aha! Moment. Each character aims to achieve the Aha! Moment and, like any product customer, goes through a unique journey.
SOLUTION
To convey the journey towards the Aha! Moment, I challenged each character: climb a mountain, navigate through a maze, solve a puzzle, etc. Each illustration reminds a game level, creating dynamism in static images.
The illustration style is contrasting, vivid, and slightly mystical due to the color palette and texture. This grabs the client's attention in social feeds.
Readers can easily associate themselves with the emotional cartoon characters and get involved in their quest.
